The Miami Amigos were members of the AAA Inter-American League, which included clubs in the USA, Venezuela, Panama, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico. The league and the club folded midway through its inaugural season, 1979.
The Amigos, managed by Davey Johnson,
finished with a record of 51-21.
